Al terminar mi último libro, que titulé: “Homeopatía, reflexiones sobre 60 años de práctica homeopática”, pensé que sería útil volver a publicar mi primer libro sobre “Materia Médica Comparada”, editado en Septiembre de 1982. Su renovación tuvo serias dificultades, ya que la editora carecía de originales útiles. Fue entonces que el Dr. Eduardo Bitis, con una dedicación encominable, tomó a su cargo la tarea de rehacer totalmente la obra que aquí se presenta. ¿Por qué treinta años después? Es que refrescar los conocimientos adquiridos durante más de veinte años estudiando y colaborando con el Dr. Tomás Paschero toman para mí un doble significado: rendir un cálido homenaje a mi Maestro por adopción, y poner sobre el tapete las bases para una mayor comprensión de la Materia Médica Pura, las Patogenesias y el Repertorio, hoy día que, a la luz de las nuevas técnicas y criterios adquiridos, las clásicas enseñanzas de los grandes maestros van perdiendo un poco su premacía y actualidad. Revisando muchas páginas de “Materia Médica Comparada”, creo que tienen perfecta congruencia y trascendencia: por ello se acoplan perfectamente con el método de estudio explicado en mi segundo libro. A riesgo de pecar de vanidoso me animo a decir que estoy satisfecho, creo que es útil el aporte que yo he efectuado, hasta cierto punto porque al mismo tiempo sugiere que aún queda muchísimo por hacer desde ésta y otras perspectivas aportadas por una pléya de numerosa de homeópatas. De lo que estoy convencido es que cada vez que escuchemos el estudioso homeópata con el ánimo de aprender habremos dado un paso cierto en el camino de la verdad. Soy optimista del futuro de la Homeopatía. Los tremendos avances de la medicina alopática son indiscutibles. Pero estoy seguro que si la Homeopatía sigue profundizando el conocimiento del hombre y su planeta y su Universo, podrá aportar al mundo médico y filosófico una visión más armónica del maravilloso misterio de la vida.
